Hope Restored Facilitator

The Hope Restored Volunteer is part of Charis's Stage 4 Restoration Services, providing trauma-informed, reproductive grief care to women who have experienced the pain, grief or isolation associated with a past abortion or miscarriage. Care is provided in a confidential, loving, nonjudgmental environment to bring about healing of the past and hope for the future.

Trust and support are nurtured within a safe and compassionate community, where participants are introduced to the biblical truths of grace, God’s forgiveness, and the hope available through Jesus. Topics include the character of God, denial, anger, shame, depression, healing, and acceptance.

Depending on your individual gift or background, each facilitator undergoes training that prepares you for ministry to women who have experienced an abortion or miscarriage.
