Childcare Volunteer
Childcare Volunteers provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children while their parents attend LifeSteps Pregnancy and Parenting Classes or other Charis programs. By caring for children, these volunteers make it possible for parents to fully participate and receive the support and education they need.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Supervising children in a safe and caring environment
Engaging children through play, crafts, books, and age-appropriate activities
Helping keep the childcare area clean, organized, and ready for the next session
Childcare Volunteers typically serve during scheduled classes and programs as needed. This role directly supports the families we serve by providing dependable, compassionate care for their children while parents attend classes.
