Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake Rebrands to Charis Pregnancy Clinic

SALT LAKE CITY, UT— On June 28, the Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake (PRC) celebrated its 40th anniversary at its annual Fun-tastic Family Fundraising Walk where the organization soft-launched its new name: Charis Pregnancy Clinic. The rebrand will become official on September 1 and includes a new logo featuring a sego lily, the state flower, to represent Charis’s commitment to serving Utah families. The redesigned identity retains the clinic’s signature teal but also introduces yellows and purples for a more vibrant and inviting look.

“The word Charis in Greek means grace. We want every man and woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy to know they will be met with grace and kindness as our licensed medical team and patient consultants equip them to navigate all their pregnancy options with confidence,” Evangeline Sanders, Executive Director of Charis, said.

The organization was founded in 1985 as Crisis Pregnancy Center then rebranded in 1988 to the Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake, focusing on community referrals and free pregnancy testing in Salt Lake City. In 2008, the PRC transitioned to offer medical services, including limited obstetrical ultrasounds. Today, Charis specializes in meeting the medical, social, and relational needs of pregnancy decision making in both Salt Lake and Utah counties. The new name and brand more accurately reflect these expanded programs, allowing the organization to better serve more families in the ever-evolving landscape of pregnancy care.
